That's the whole idea behind Bedify — a photo is the only proof that you actually did what you promised yourself. For a bedtime alarm, that means you're in bed. For a wake-up alarm, that means you're out of it. An AI check confirms the photo in seconds.
The photo needs to clearly show you in the right position for the alarm type: in bed for bedtime, out of bed for wake-up. Very dark or blurry photos can also fail the check — try turning on a light or holding the phone steady. You get multiple attempts before the alarm offers a fallback.
No. Your photo is analyzed in the moment and discarded immediately — it's never stored on our servers or anywhere else. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Bedify needs a connection to verify your photo. If verification fails twice in a row due to a connection issue, Bedify turns off the alarm on its own so you're never stuck — that day simply won't count toward your streak.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Bedify, and cancel from there. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
You can reset your progress from within the app. Note that this is permanent and can't be undone.
